Like its namesake, the Brazen is an unapologetic folding knife here to get the job done. Released in early 2021, the original was a tanto monster that more than just performed – it excelled. At almost everything. Hot on its heels was a drop point release that really had no faults. An improved slicer over the tanto – better for your day-to-day tasks – it made the Brazen a real force to be reckoned with and among CIVIVI’s best liner lock models. A few years later and much harping by our own David C Anderson about finger-safe closing (appreciated but not necessary), the Brazen is the next CIVIVI masterpiece to receive the button lock treatment. If you haven’t tried out a Brazen yet, now’s the time. This knife is fantastic.
